Camila Rodrigues, from Volta Redonda, Brazil, began her training at Escola Estadual de Dança Maria Olenewa, the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theater’s ballet school, and with Nora Esteves at Centro de Movimento Deborah Colker. She studied on scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and was asked to join the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group one week after entering the school. Camila joined Nashville Ballet II, where she performed with the main company. She won 1st place at World Ballet Art Competition Grand Prix and Best Interpretation of the Contemporary Compulsory at the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition. Camila has performed soloist and principal roles with companies such as Connecticut Ballet, Neglia Ballet and Movement Headquarters Ballet Company.
