Taylor Lemme began dancing at the age of three, is trained in all genres of dance including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip-hop and competed competitively since she was seven. She was an intensive company member at Thrive and trained under Persephonie Alvarez-Langlois in 2015 & 2016. Over her 10 years dancing competitively, Taylor was the recipient of regional and national overall high score and title awards.
Taylor has been apart of the Thrive Faculty since 2017 where she began as the Office Manager and is now Thrive’s Business Director.
After her time at Thrive, she attended the University of Connecticut and graduated in May 2020 with a degree in Finance. While at UConn, she was a member of the UConn Dance Company and UConn Tap Team where she would perform and compete locally.
Taylor is also a former titleholder in the Miss America Organization where she held three local titles serving our community, advocating for food allergy awareness, and dedicating her time to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In addition, Taylor has received numerous talent awards for her Tap talent performances at Miss Connecticut as well as the national community service award twice.
This summer, she was accepted into UConn’s Graduate School and is now pursing her Masters of Business Administration. Furthermore, she has recently started working full-time as an Internal Audit & Enterprise Risk Associate for KPMG in addition to still being Thrive’s Business Director.
Taylor loves spending her time with the dancers of Thrive and sharing her passion for dance with our next generation. As a former student,Taylor is forever thankful for Thrive and so excited to be on the other end giving back to the studio that gave so much to her.
